weylie Hoang is a 22 year old you tuber who live in San Francisco. She is a beauty vlogger that lives with her boyfriend Wah. She is a funny and inspiring person that many people can really relate too. Recently on her main channel, she posted a video about her past depression and suicide story, in this video she motivates people to live their life to the fullest and she gives advice on what she learnt going through the process first hand.
As weylie grew up she was going through many obstacles at a very young age. Her parents would fight almost everyday after work and she and her older sister Wennie would cry all the time together in their room. School wasn't any better for her and since she always moved houses she had to move school as well and that meant if she made friends she would have to move and she was again left out and the odd one out. Since she thought no one cared for her and she had no one to express her feeling to she fell into the trap of depression.
Her parents were hard working and provided for the family. Once weylie was born the two businesses her family had owned left them with little to no money left and that was a hard stage for everyone in her family. This made her parents always fight and having a abusive mum weylie was beat alongside her sister nearly everyday because her mum was letting it all out on her daughters, her dad would come and protect them from the beatings and got hit instead of them.
Weylie felt that she had no one to talk to and no one there to express her feelings to. She would hide in her cupboard everyday and cry and cry. She soon decided to let it all out on paper and started writing a journal about the things she wanted to say. She talked negatively about herself, what she looked like and all the problems that was going through her life at that moment, she was only thinking about the negative things in life and that didn't help her to recover at all. Because of all the problems at home and the bullying that occurred at school. She started to think about death and started writing letters to her family to read after she had died. She attempted many times to commit suicide by hanging off scarves in her wardrobe, choking herself with scarves, drowning and cutting herself.

Handling depression-
I think that when you feel that you have no one to speak to and you have no one that you can rely on it's a really good idea to write on paper the things you really wanted to say. Keeping all your problems in and not letting them loose is hard for anybody and i think that writing a journal was a really good idea of letting the words inside of you out.
Focusing on positive things are really important in any situation. By being positive you can bring yourself and others up by mentioning the good things that are happening and being thankful about the things you have. Although this is really hard i think it is extremely important to bring yourself up by speaking positively, you can be motivated and be a happier person when you focus on the good and better things.
Weylie got rid of the idea of taking her life when her pdh teacher started talking about how young their lives are, how much more is ahead of you. She talks about how that really stopped her from thinking about committing suicide and brought her to realise that there is so many opportunities ahead of her. She had dreams she wanted to achieve and things she wanted to so when she was older, meeting new people and living the life that was ahead of her.
